Capo By The Sea is in the beautiful Dana Point, CA, and in walking distance of the famous Doheny Beach.

Our facility has several highly qualified and experienced medical doctors affiliated with our staff.

We specialize in programs exclusively designed to address the beliefs and values of the executives we serve.

Before, during and after recovery- all communication is candid. Your privacy is important to us.

Our primary focus at Capo By the Sea is the recovery of the individual, which includes stress-relieving activities.

1.How long does the actual Detox process take
The first step of Detoxification, “withdrawal symptoms” can usually be accomplished in seven to ten days. This is usually enough to get the active abuser withdrawn from daily use, but that is not enough to keep someone off drugs or alcohol. Many will stay thirty to sixty days to treat the deeper causes of abuse and get over the initial cravings for their abuse. While doing this the patient and program will work on restoring the life of the executive.

2.What do you actually mean by "painless" Detox?
In the past detoxification had and still has several discomforts to actual death when non trained personnel tried to work with clients. Some of these included methadone and other drugs which became an addiction all to itself. The medical community and our well trained staff of doctors deal with recently found drugs such as Subutex and Suboxone which were introduced specifically for withdrawal from opiate addiction. These are the first trialed drugs for addiction in over thirty years.

These new drugs can keep withdrawal symptoms from attacking the patient to where withdrawal is less painful and agonizing.

3. How long is the average stay?
In most cases a stay of thirty to sixty days is typical in a sober-living, structured environment. 12-Step recovery programs and daily 12 step meetings are a primary focus during this time. You will also meet individually with a Medical Doctor and trained, certified counselors. Drug addicted patients could stay longer to redevelop their family and personal ties. With either early release could cause the executive to continue the abuse. It is advised that the executive stay as long as needed to redevelop their social standing with family and friends. 4. Can I leave the facility or take days off during the recovery process?
Each of our treatment programs is customized for the individual needs of our clients. There are many cases where "weekend passes" are part of your schedule. This depends on the type of addiction, underlying causes and success of the patient to meet their goals.

5. Can I use my cellular telephone and/or portable computer to keep in touch with my business during my stay?
Again, every treatment program at Capo by the Sea is customized for your needs, in most cases we offer remote executive offices (with telephone, fax, and internet access) so you can keep in touch with business associates and/or loved ones.
