Capo By The Sea was founded by businessmen John T.
Kahal after he had experienced the recovery process
for himself. He is passionate in sharing the freedom
he has been fortunate enough to have experienced in
sobriety with other executives and businessmen facing
substance abuse and/or addiction problems. The mission
of Capo By The Sea is to help alcoholics and addicts
who are seeking guidance with their recovery. Capo By
The Sea helps people to transform their lives by
providing the highest quality treatment and continuing
care services, customized for the individual.
We believe strongly in the
principles behind the 12-step programs. When
alcoholism and addiction are treated as a disease
rather than a type of weakness of character or other
disorder, it allows both the client and the friends
and family of the client to be more accepting and
easily achieve a positive outlook on the treatment.
Capo By The Sea is very dedicated in totally immersing
our clients in the 12-step program. Clients are
required to attend a minimum of 1 meeting a day. The
beautiful thing about using the 12-step program is
that the people who attend 12-step meetings seek to
discover ways to live fulfilling lives without drugs
and alcohol. They provide the perfect support system
for the newly sober alcoholic or drug addict. Our
counselors are highly trained in coping mechanisms and
getting to the underlying cause of the addiction. Capo
By The Sea strongly believes addiction is a disease,
and that identifying the source of the disease will
help make recovery successful.
